Well I hoped for a bit more detailed explanation of the error code 0x80820001, I also found the information mentioned above when googling around. In this case that would mean that you need a support agreement with Microsoft and can ask them what the error code 0x80820001 exactly means. Can you ask the Microsoft support regading this issue?

The error code means "Synchronization could not be completed". But this does not really help us really. So, what about the above mentioned case? Are there any naming issues maybe?

There are naming issues/duplicates in the calendar and in the contacts folder. When deaktivating the corresponding modules and activating them again the sync works fine again. After some time the sync just stops without really notifying the user, he will only realize the issue when he manually initiates the sync with the ActiveSync button on the Win Mobile device where he will also see the error "Synchronization could not be completed" errorcode 0x80820001. Anyway as you don't have more information about this error I will try to invastigate further and maybe get an answer from Microsoft why sync stopps and just works again if the calendar or contact module is configured from scratch again.
