Dear Socrateaser,
I am sorry there has been such a gap in time since I last contacted you. This question was in relation to my mother's computer in Scotland and I left for Germany on 25 November where I have been doing an Intensive language course which finishes on 21 December when I will go back to Scotland.

My brother was with my mother after I left and changed my mother's bank account number and contacted Webways for a reimbursement of money she paid to WebWays. I received an email intended for my mother from WebWays advising that the payment she had made had been refunded.The question still remains about the honesty or otherwise of this company, as I believe that my mother still has an icon on her desktop allowing Wbways remote access to her computer. Also, is it possible that because Webways has already more than once and for several hours at a time had remote access to the computer that they could have copied all the data off her computer. I am not sure about what private data she has kept but several of the folder names seem to lead to financial data which I am sure she would be unhappy for 3rd parties to have knowledge of.

I will only be able to attend to this matter on my return to Scotland, and yet would welcome any advice you can give us.
